Umbrellas and Foam Rubber Butts

Someone has left an umbrella at my apartment. It is a pretty big one, with one of those collapsable plastic cup thingies on the end, so you don't get water everwhere when you're indoors. I suspect it belongs to AK or Sam's friend.

To the Members of My Gym:

Me: The owner of the blue umbrella. The only umbrella that was in the yellow umbrella-bucket in front of the front desk on Friday night. You: The jerk who stole my umbrella. Did you know I only bought it two weeks ago? Thanks, asshole, it was raining really hard.

To the window-dressers of Crunch:

What's up with the display of foam rubber butts in the front window? Seriously, there are a lot of butts. They are somewhat realistic looking, as much as a foam rubber butt can be, but I fail to see the point of such a large display of butts.

I think you should actually post that first one up on some bulletin board in your gym. Maybe replace asshole with jerk so they don't have an excuse to take it down.

They do have chalkboards around, and chalk.

It was an umbrella I bought and I thought about taking it but at the last minute realized it would not fit even in my big suitcase, even diognal. So you can keep it and enjoy, and consider it a gift from God to replace the umbrella some jerk stole from you at the gym. It has a neat feature: when you have folded the umbrella up into the plastic hood thing, and it's all wet, you can partially unscrew the tip and the water will pour out. It is cool. Also, it's a really big umbrella and good for when it's raining hard.

Wow!! Thanks AK!!

Doesn't it rain rather a lot in SF, though? Are you sure you don't want it?

And what about this Umberto Eco book? Is that yours?

Uh no, it`s mine. Please ship it to Japan ASAP. Also, your links open into a very small frame.

Nah, I fixed that link thing.

the Eco book is Maggie's. I was reading it because she kindly let me. But I didn't finish. This means I will have to wait until the library has it. It is not good enough to justify buying.

Kerry, you jerk. The Eco book is mine, I got it for Christmas from my mom. Anyway, who in their right mind would ship something as heavy as a hard-cover book to Japan? Geez, do you think we're made of money?

Heh heh.

Any other books you find in english are also mine, as is any money you find in your bank account. Use my money to ship my books. No problem.
