Sick & 9.1 Kills Me
Posted by erin at January 22, 2003 04:02 PMI haven't been sick in ages, but I'm sick today. I've been sick all week. I missed work Monday, went in yesterday, and felt worse this morning so I stayed home again.
I did a very bad thing - I installed photoshop, and in order to do so had to update to Mac OS 9.1. Updating the OS broke my crappily pirated version of MS Word 98, which I was using to type new scenes for my screenplay. Now I only have Word 5.1, and I can't find my borrowed Final Draft Pro CD. I think it's at work or at N's, but I'm not sure, 'cause I'm at home.

Upgrading to 9.1 almost killed me!
NONE of my stuff would work in OS X.
What I really, really need is a newer version of MS Word, so I can open my files!

I have Office 2000 and I believe you can choose to install just Word or whatever else you want. I think I can get ahold of Word 98, too. Call me at home tonight if you want me to bring any discs in tomorrow.
