I agree about the first picture. It looks like one of those attempts by a bad band to be stylish and cool, which looks cool for just a single shot of you and some other dude. You two should start a band just so you can put this picture in the liner notes.

The picture was taken by a real photographer, on slide film and everything.
I don't remember if Russ and I are feeling genuine angst in the photo, or if we're playing it up.
