Yes, it really is my mom, but she SHOULD know what a balrog is, since she read all the books and has seen each movie more times than I have.
I gave her the hint: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" and her guess was: "Is it Shelob?"
I'm surprised she's seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force, though.
