Spilling Stuff
Posted by erin at February 25, 2004 02:58 PMOn Monday I was tired from staying up late on Sunday night, so I bought a large coffee, with sugar in it (unusual for me as of late) from the Mud Truck, which dispenses delicious coffee.
I promptly spilt the coffee all over my desk at work, and some splashed onto my G5. This was upsetting because only 1/8th of the original coffee remained. Not to be defeated, I bought a new coffee to replace it. My computer was fine. The IT guy looked around inside with a flashlight. It was also upsetting because I was on time for work (for once) but by the time I cleaned up the coffee it was 20 after.
Last week I decided to do a small load of laudry in the little machine we have in our (decadent, bourgois) apartment. I forgot it only takes 2 tablespoons of soap, and instead put in a full cup or so of detergent. 15 minutes later a tide of foam seeped out of the bottom of the washer.
N. helped clean it up, and I stood around feeling like an idiot.
The idiocy continued yesterday when N. was typing me up new character sheets and discovered that Njal leveled a long, long time ago. From the XP numbers I had written down, I guess I was looking at an XP chart for wizards or somesuch thing.
