Even I have to admit that this is pretty cool.
Some friends of mine will be terrifically amused by this art exhibit which incorporates My Little Ponies and is also sponsored by Mattel. Altering My Little Ponies has been a thing for a couple years now. I saw some really good ones at the artshow at Anime Expo that were based on Naruto characters. There was a Kakashi pony, a Gaara pony, a Naruto pony, and maybe a Rock Lee.
I can't find any pictures of it online now, though.
I have noticed that one theme of other people blogging is that people always blog about their illnesses. If you have a long friends list on livejournal, you can track illnesses as they spread across the country, since people often post about their symptoms.
I read about several friends getting sick recently, and then N. got a small cold, and now I have a small cold. It's really annoying and my throat hurts a lot. I haven't had a cold in a zillion months, or at least not since March or so. I hope I get better by Saturday, as I have a lot planned.
Crap!! I just remembered I was going to record my dad talking for the podcast, and I totally forgot. My parents were in town for Maggie's wedding last weekend. I have some pictures up here and here. Flickr isn't cooperating with me right now, so I'll upload some of the photos to the group later.
Maggie's wedding was "awesome", but not because of anything Maggie did or didn't do (although she forgot to throw the bouquet), but rather, because in a moment of inspiration another bridesmaid and I had a samurai duel using the bridesmaid bouquets. Even though I totally lost (Matt yelled something about shaming our family name), it was probably the most fun I've had at a wedding, possibly ever. I also broke the strap on my dress in the first round. No one there had even seen Utena, but it was kinda like that.
