Due to N.'s fear of certain people's mother(s), I will be cooking a turkey on Thursday, so wish me luck! I have cooked a whole chicken before, but not a whole turkey. I am armed with my mom's recipe, some Reynolds cooking bags, and a free-range anti-biotic free turkey of the delicious brand you can get at Fairway. I also know from experience that our oven is weaker than normal ovens, and one must significantly lengthen the cooking time of most things.
Although really for me, it's all about the delicious, delicious stuffing. I bought this turkey just so I could stuff it. For serious. I don't think I've ever had stuffing I didn't like, including StoveTop. I haven't had StoveTop in quite a while though.
